In nine short months, DIG and its partners, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer and Public Works and Waste Management departments, has successfully held 18 workshops through the Water and Energy Learning and Behavior Program (WE-LAB), touching the lives of 501 participants to date.
The analysis of data collected through pre- and post workshop surveys shows that participants understanding of the connection between water and energy has increased. This summer, additional workshops are being held in collaboration with Baptist Hospital, the Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department and local municipalities such as Doral and Miami B each.
Join us at a WE-LAB workshop to learn how saving water and energy can positively affect our environment while saving us money. Participants will receive a free WE-LAB Toolkit (valued at $75) to allow you take immediate action at home.
