Dream in Green staff participated at the 6th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit held on October 1 and 2, 2014 in the City of Miami Beach. The Summit, coordinated by the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact, attracts innovative thinkers and leaders from business, government, academia and the non-profit community to exchange ideas and dialogue at panel discussions and networking breaks.
The 2014 theme, “Regions Connect ? Global Effect,” was about advancing policy and catalyzing action locally and regionally, as well as connecting and collaborating with other communities throughout the nation and the world. The Climate Leadership Summit is a major regional event focused on facilitating climate-related collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Last year, the Compact, a partnership between Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties, their municipalities and other partners, received that DIG 2014 Green Innovator Award for Compact’s contributions to South Florida.
