Miami, FL — Dream in Green, a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability through education, has been named a 2024 Global E-STEM Excellence Prize winner by Pratt & Whitney and the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). This prestigious recognition includes a grant of up to $50,000 to support the organization’s impactful work in environmental STEM (E-STEM) education.

Dream in Green was selected for its flagship Green Schools Challenge, a comprehensive program that integrates E-STEM education, teacher training, and student competitions to foster sustainability in K–12 schools. The initiative empowers students with green career skills, promotes teamwork, and encourages solutions-focused climate action.

“We are thrilled to receive this honor from Pratt & Whitney and NAAEE,” said Barbara Martinez-Guerrero, Executive Director of Dream in Green. “This award underscores our commitment to fostering environmental stewardship among youth and preparing them to be the sustainability leaders of tomorrow.”
